Hello, my name is Sarah. I worked in the NHS as a qualified nurse for 35 years before taking early retirement to go and study abroad. I have worked as a carer since 2018 before I went back to the NHS when Covid19 started. I also worked in industry running a Covid testing lab and for the last year have gone back to part time caring which I love. I have experience of working with and supporting many different people with physical illness, mental illness, autism, addictions and end of life care. I do travel abroad a lot so I am not looking for permanent work but I am available to care for you or your loved ones at short notice, to care for patients who are close to the end of their lives and to cover for carers who are having a break. I have worked with elderly patients and also younger adults. I speak fluent Spanish and have studied and lived in Madrid and Malaga and would be happy to accompany clients on their holidays either within the UK or abroad, I am a confident and frequent traveller. I love animals and have my own slightly crazy dog. I like to cook, to chat and to meet people and I am a warm and friendly person who is very practical.
